Welcome to One Car Garage, in which I choose a manufacturer or class of vehicle, and you decide choose single vehicle (no matter how old, no matter how exclusive) to live with for the rest of your life. This is your only vehicle, and all expenses are paid for, including price of entry, insurance, gas, etc.
Today we’ll be heading back to America from France, where we spent our Friday with the Francetastic !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . In America, we’ll be choosing our One Car Garager from the now defunct Plymouth.

Much like my Friday choice largely reflected a choice I’d made previously for OCG, today’s choice will do the same. When we chose from Dodge, I picked the massively winged, and prominently nose-coned Daytona. My choice from Plymouth will be that beasts counterpart, the Superbird. The Superbird was basically an updated version of the Daytona, adding where it fell short, and improving upon it’s excellence. Because this is my decision, however, I’ll again be having to convince the significant other to get something a bit more practical: at worst a Voyager, at best the Voyager 3 concept. I definitely want my OCG to be a Superbird, though.

Easy, a '71 'Cuda! I'd love a red 426 Hemi 'Cuda (above), but a black 440 will do just as well!

My father had one of these, in black :
Never had time to work on it, had to sell it one day. Something died inside of me that day ...

Hmm.. I'm pretty sure there will be LOT'S of people saying "easy, a 70/71 cuda".. But, you know what, I'd choose the fourth gen Savoy.
I LOVE the 'Cuda, but as an everyday car? Nah.. sorry.. So yeah, for me it must be a 60 or 61 Savoy. Sure, it may not be pretty, but it's something else.. it's got someting.. Let's just say je ne sais quoi.

1998 Pronto Spyder
Lightweight, 2.4L Turbo I-4, mid-mounted, RWD, 5-speed manual.
If they had put this into production, it could have been a hit for the brand (possibly saving Plymouth, for at least another 2-3 years), and could've pressured GM into making a US market version of the Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220 that came out 2 years later to compete.
But, instead of being a potential saving grace for Plymouth, it was one of it's last dying breaths.

Well, I'd REALLY like a Galant Lambda. I think it looks gorgeous actually, but as a daily driver.. hmmm.. nah. But as car number two? Sure, just make sure it's got a third gen DI-D 4D56 in it ;)

I actually had a "One car garage: Plymouth edition" once upon a time, but cost was definitely a factor. I'll have to post some pics of my old Neon soon.
